In the Bible, Matthew 25: vs35 says”
'For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty,
and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in;
My dear brothers and sisters...share your daily bread with those who dont have....and you shall never be hungry or thristy again....And that is our mission. To feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, and clothe the naked. Be part of our misison....
This year we pray that Hurricane Season is mild and that any bad storms or hurricanes skip the Dominican Republic and Haiti. For those who dont know, in 2007 urricane Noel recently caused huge devastation, much like Katrina and New Orleans.... yet we don't seem to know much about what happened there as it has not been much in the news.... In the Dominican Republic alone, currently there are over 250 dead, not counting the many that are missing through the floods... over 17,000 homes destroyed and 74,000 homeless...this does not include the devastation in Haiti. Last year Noel made our mission an even greater one.
